Hello! We are Joleen (mom) and Marci (me). We have been road tripping together since…. well, since I was born really. Mom recently retired and figured she would probably volunteer with animals. Then I found this fantastic opportunity to combine our love of travel and animals!!!
Several years ago we were able to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. While there for a week we both participated in the dog handling workshop they offered. We obtained great information from great people and got to meet a variety of animals.
Animals are my heart. I volunteered at our local shelter for several years where I worked hands-on with dogs of all sizes and temperments, as well as cats. I was fortunate to be able to take time to work with dogs who needed extra time and special attention before they were able to be introduced to the public.
Having raised my own dog from a puppy, I understand that as adorable as puppies are, they also require patience and care. I have fostered many dogs and became a member of the failed foster club when I adopted 2 year old Sadee the yellow lab. I have also rescued two cats. At this point in my life I can’t claim to be a dog or cat person. I love them all!
We both have clean driving records and have driven all over the states. We do not smoke, drink or do drugs.
While your animal is in our care they will be treated as a member of our family. With 2 of us on duty your special delivery will never be left unattended and will get twice the luvins’ (if that’s what they like.)
We do request a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due 24 hours prior to delivery. An invoice/contract will be sent to you that will include the job details and payment options.
